Story of a street


Mirza Ghalib Street, also known as ‘Free School Street’, is a strech of culture in the city of Kolkata, which opens up its music shops, record stores, bookshops, cheap eateries, the history and stories which surrounds its corners. The people go about their day as usual, often in tandem with the character of the street itself.

This ia an attempt to capture the essence of Free School Street and its stories.

Printed as a self published zine, 15cm x 14cm, colour. Bringing together images, illlustrations, type all together right from the streets into this small format, sharing a piece of my city with the world through the stories and histories from this street.
